This outfit has almost all this season’s trends in one and it has brought such a big smile to my heart, mostly because it is colorful, flirty and playful.

Ruffles have to be my favorite trend because of the volume they give to an outfit. They transform an otherwise basic outfit into a girly and playful one with so much character (like what tobacco sauce does to a dish;-). Gingham has come back in full glory and I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I saw it. It gives off a little vintage and a little modern vibe at the same time.

I decided to play down the already vibrant outfit with a simple white tee.

To bring out the colors of the skirt I added this little embroidered denim jacket and my trusted red heels.
