Every girl has the quintessential little black dress in her wardrobe, perfect for all occasions. We all have one… or six…. or eight, and they all have the power to make us feel exceptionally empowered, sexy and sophisticated yet appropriately dressed for every setting. I mean, a black dress is a pretty powerful wardrobe staple. If you are not sure of what to wear then wear a black dress and you will always look appropriately dressed.
My latest discovery is this ruffled one, which I must admit I would not have thought I would love half as much as I do. See how black dresses are magical?
There is something playful and inviting about ruffles, whether on shirts, skirts or dresses. They entice the little girl in me and I just want to twirl and make a boomerang video ( I won’t, maybe). The best part is ruffles cover all the imperfections on the body, well almost all, so if you are not beach body ready worry not.
I love how the belt cinches at the waist and instantly makes the waist small, don’t you just love it when dress does that?
I paired it with my black and gold sandals because I love gold, no other reason 🙂 and l love heels and this is the golden match and this black clutch bag that I cannot remember where I bought it from.
