The weather is still warm even though the season is slowly, and surely cooling down into what we call ‘winter’ here. Well, do not expect snow or anything like that, it just means that the temperature cools down to a bearable range. It is a lovely and exciting time to be in Dubai, there a ‘million’ tourists everywhere, malls are busy and buzzing 24/7 and we can actually walk out on the street for more than a second.

Having said that, it is quite cool, or even cold, in the evenings. Living in Dubai, you don’t get the chance to wear coats and warm outfits because almost all year round it is quite hot. It is always a good idea to buy lightweight clothes and carry with you a sweater or a coat to throw over your outfit when you get into buildings, which are usually very cold.

I like to go out during the day for breakfast or lunch at this time of the year as I can sit out and enjoy the outdoors, the little things people take for granted. This playsuit is just perfect for a day out or even an evening out with friends.

I bought it while out shopping with my sisters because of the dainty and intricate lace covering the chest area and arms, so it is quite sexy and classy at the same time and it fits like a glove. Most importantly you can dress it down for daytime or accessorize it for evening wear.

I layered it with this jacket with leather lapels for some warmth and a bit of edge, a win win situation!
